source site This is not a typical Pilates class.
It is delivered by a qualified, clinically trained HCPC Registered Physiotherapist, who is APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute) certified.
This means that you get the wealth of knowledge and experience that comes with being a Physiotherapist, combined with the most comprehensive and diverse Pilates training available. This combination of skills allows our teachers to provide a bespoke approach to your Pilates programme, tailoring it to what you need.
This class will therefore not only help you to improve your strength and control, but can also be used as a form of rehabilitation from an injury. This class can also compliment any current Physiotherapy treatment you are receiving. It can be used to help manage a persistent pain problem or to act as a form of pre-habilitation, for example to help develop strength in a low impact way before undertaking an operation. These classes are also well suited for post-natal mothers, preparing to get back into their usual exercise routine.
Our classes are 1 hour long and include a 10 minute mindfulness and relaxation component.
We keep our class sizes small enough to allow individualised and focused support.
